It's not just "like" I'm starting a new chapter in my life. I AM starting a new chapter in my life. If you were writing a book about me you'd be looking for a cliffhanger, some unanswered question to pull the reader into the next portion. And very soon you'd be ending the paragraph with a big chunk of blank space before the bottom of the page. And you'd be typing "Chapter 5" on the next page. Or maybe I'm not up to 5.... or maybe I'm well past 5, I don't know.
As of Monday I'm not "Christopher the trainer". I won't be ushering in a new group of 20-30 trainees every 6 weeks. Won't be spending 8 hours a day with them, training them to do the job they were hired for, and trying my damndest, in my own subversive way, to teach them a little bit about bigger things as well. And maybe, against policy, even if it was unwritten policy, make the whole 6 week ordeal fun as well.
